See how solar PV can fit tiled, slate, metal and flat roofs—or a suitable ground-mounted project.
We primarily use Clenergy for on-roof installations, GSE for in-roof systems and Renusol Console for suitable flat-roof arrangements. Each system is selected through survey and design.
Hooks are selected to suit the pan tile profile, with the panels supported by rails fixed to the roof structure.
Mounting options
Clenergy pantile interfaces and rails; consider GSE for a planned roof replacement.
Survey considerations
The tile profile, hook clearance and waterproof detailing need a site check.

CLENERGY ON-ROOF · GSE IN-ROOF
Slate roofs
Dedicated slate interfaces allow an on-roof array without relying on the slate to carry the panel loading.
Mounting options
Clenergy SolarRoof Pro slate hooks; GSE integrated systems if suitable.
Survey considerations
Slate thickness, condition and fragility are particularly important.

Panels sit within purpose-made GSE frames, replacing part of the roof covering for a flush finish—especially useful when replacing a roof or building a new home.
Mounting options
GSE In-Roof on eligible tiled or slate roof assemblies using the specified flashings and roof details.
Survey considerations
Roof pitch, compatible module dimensions, waterproofing, ventilation and fire performance require a project-specific design.
Frames are held down with calculated ballast rather than automatically being fixed through the roof membrane.
Mounting options
Ballasted low-tilt frames or tubs, where structural and wind-loading assessments allow.
Survey considerations
Ballast weight and roof load capacity must be calculated, not guessed.

STRUCTURAL FIXINGS
Flat roof: mechanically fixed
A properly engineered frame attaches to the building structure, with roof penetrations carefully designed and weatherproofed.
Mounting options
Mechanically fixed rails or frames selected for the substrate and roof covering.
Survey considerations
Every fixing penetration needs a compatible waterproofing detail and structural design.

RENUSOL CS+ SYSTEM
Renusol Console tubs
Low-profile modular console tubs that are placed on the flat roof, filled with the specified ballast and used to support solar modules.
Mounting options
Renusol CS+ on suitable flat-roof surfaces following the system design.
Survey considerations
Use and loading must follow the Renusol layout and ballast calculations. Ground use requires a separately validated design.

CONSOLES · ANCHORED FRAMES
Ground-mounted arrays
Where the roof is unsuitable, solar panels can be mounted at ground level using approved frames, foundations or ballasted arrangements.
Mounting options
Project-specific ground mount; a console-style solution may be considered where approved.
Survey considerations
Ground conditions, wind loads, shading, access and permissions all influence the design.
The right support matters.
The roof structure, weatherproofing, wind loads, module compatibility and access are assessed before selecting fixings or ballast. Ground-mounted arrangements need their own design and permissions review. Photographs include manufacturer and installation examples; they are labelled separately from Jelvis work.
